Yuriy Koval worked for Luhansk Zorya for more than 20 years. During this time, he became a legend of the club, the man who brought the Black and Whites back to the elite division. Yurii Hryhorovych gave many years to our team, working in various positions, but he always benefited the people of Luhansk.

Life happens so that now Yurii Koval, for family reasons, is moving to Oleksandriia (where he has lived for a long time) and will be involved in children's football.

But we could not let him go without a short interview:

-Circumstances are such that I need to be at home, in Oleksandriia, to help my wife. My feelings are mixed, the decision is not easy. "Zorya is always in my heart. I can't imagine any other emblem on my shirt. I have coached many teams, but Zorya is the most successful stage of my career. Many thanks to the club president, the team management, the fans for their trust, for feeling the drive of coaching again, the emotions of European Cup matches.

Now we have a very good coaching staff both in the first team and in the second team, so I am sure that everything will be fine.

What is the most memorable moment for you at Zorya?
- I remember all the moments - both the fight for survival and the Premier League. Working with such coaches as Yuriy Vernydub, Viktor Skrypnyk, Patrick van Leeuwen, Nenad Lalatovic. All of this is something new, something interesting.

I also remember, and it is difficult to explain to the players of today's Zorya, what Luhansk and the full Avangard stadium are. No one had the right to play badly. This is the most vivid memory. "Zorya is not just a word, it's a brand, it's a willpower. I think that there are few teams that could survive in such conditions, and not just survive, but not lose their fighting qualities and constantly progress.
